Introducing the Treasure Island 'Parties' and 'Fun' Directories
We have developed what we like to call a 'Parties and Fun Search Engine'. If you enter any UK postcode, it will return listings within a certain distance. You can then filter these results using keyword, age range, free events, ideal when raining and more.
Its really easy to use and should be a great tool for parents.
The directory currently features thousands of entertainers, places to visit, party venues, children's workshops and much more.
We are going to be expanding this to feature EVERYTHING from child friendly restaurants and pubs to discount vouchers and much, much more.
How to use the directory:
We have designed the directory to be as user friendly as possible. Simply enter a place (this could be anything from a small village, town or large city) or postcode and the page will display every listing within your area.
You can then select on the left whether you wish to refind the results to any of the following main categories:
- - Entertainers
- - Venues
- - Food/Catering
- - Attractions
- - Classes/Workshops
- - Active
Within these main categories you will then find hundreds of keywords with everything from 'Clowns', 'Magicians' and 'Discos', right through to 'Ballet', 'Skiing', 'Oddities' and much more.
Click on any of these keywords to refine the listings to help you organise the perfect party or day out with the kids.
Each listing contain images, telephone numbers, address details, an email contact form, and details about the place.
Some images even contain videos, so that you can see the place/entertainer in action.
We have given the listing holders the option to display whether they have CRB certificates, Public Liability Insurance, Equity Memberships, and PAT testing certificates. These are things that as a parent you need to consider when hiring a company for your party, or visiting a place for a fun day out.
